With only hours to go now until we head off I thought I'd give you all a quick update: The truck arrives at 7am to collect all our gear & we will be leaving once that is done. We have a little convoy with Pete driving 1 vehicle with the boat, followed by Stacey & John in her little car; then I'll be bringing up the rear with the dogs & bird all strapped in & towing the box trailer along behind! Hope to make 700kms tomorrow & praying the roads are not flooded over with the rains from the cyclone which hit the coast early hours this morning. This little trek should take about 3 or 4 days depending on road conditions etc. Tonight we look forward to a wonderful family dinner out with all of us together:) Next post will be from our new home in the country! take care everyone
